Be Cyber Streetwise is the National Fraud Authority’s new advertising campaign, featuring Steve May’s dynamic illustrations which can be seen on billboards throughout the UK. The cross-government programme commissioned the website to educate us about the importance of online security. Steve’s images cleverly illustrate the importance of protecting yourself, your family and your business’s data by improving your online behaviour using anti-virus software and creating strong passwords.

Commissioned by the agency, M&C Saatchi, Steve created illustrations for the interactive website, print and poster campaign. In his role as an animation director for Picasso Pictures, he also animated the online videos showing how people take risks with web security that they would never take in the real world. The work was written by Matt Beaumont and art directed by Phil Reedy. You can see one of the videos on the Campaign Live website. Also see more examples of the posters that have been spotted so far on Steve May’s blog.
