Frances Castle was the perfect illustrator for this brief from RGP, the transport planning and infrastructure design consultants. They commissioned this one-off landcape mural to fit across two of their office walls showing all manner of transport solutions, including green ones.

The landscape needed to incorporate their brand colours and certain brand statements to get across their company's expertise. RGP work across many sectors including residential, retail, leisure, industrial, education and healthcare, providing clients with bespoke and sustainable transport strategies for an ever evolving world.

Frances has always been fascinated with illustrating rural and urban landscapes and it runs in her family - her grandfather, Frank Sherwin was a watercolour painter of British Railways post-war posters that have become iconic symbols of 1950's Britain.

Here are some photos of the final murals which were printed onto a self-adhesive wallpaper.
