Bella and Monty wins the Dundee Picture Book Award 2011
Congratulations to Alex T. Smith who was crowned winner of the Dundee Picture Book Award 2011 last week. His picture book, Bella and Monty: A Hairy, Scary Night, was voted book of the year by the school children of Dundee.

We were also delighted to hear that two more of Alex’s picture books have been nominated for awards: My Mum Has X-Ray Vision has been shortlisted for the¬†Portsmouth Book Award 2011 and¬†Egg has been shortlisted for the prestigious¬†Sheffield Children’s Book Award 2011.¬†Egg stars¬†the fiendish Foxy DuBois, who does her best to ‘look after’ innocent Egg. Little does she know that this egg is full of big surprises!
