There is simply no better way to welcome children into a world of reading than with poetry. We couldn’t be more delighted to present to you A Ticket to Kalamazoo! Written by James Carter and illustrated by Neal Layton.

This is a zippy and zany collection of 19 poems to read aloud features hilarious and characterful illustrations. In his signature comic style, Neal brings life and laughs to James' brilliant thought-provoking rhymes.

One ticket will magically let you… ride on an elephant, stay in a bug hotel, travel by train boat and plane, mingle with bears and minibeasts – and even meet an alien! From poems about growing-up, to Aliens, soup and everything in between this will be a much requested favourite to share with audiences as large as an elephant or as small as a ladybird.
